BIOGRAPHY

Oscar B. was born in 1960 in Paris, but it is in Nantes that he will live most of his existence. In love with this port city to the industrial atmospheres, with the colours gray and rust, the chaotic climates, it will be the discussion thread of its creation.
Since 1980, is its artistic course, a voyage, sometimes a wandering, between the Rock'n'roll? electro-industrialist? , photography, numerical art, the drawing and painting, always in search of a demolition site, a ruin, a waste land of a scrap heap rusted with for objective: “a poetic rebuilding of the city”.
To survive in this metal jungle, Oscar B. will be successively: deliveryman in medicinal products, pump assistant of night, workman in a metallurgy factory, computer graphics expert, blood product conveyor, landscape designer, assistant sound engineer, technician at CNRS with Orsay, civil servant at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Minister of education main road in Paris etc…. These multiple experiments will contribute to anchor the artistic work of Oscar B. in reality.
In 2005, the artist returns to the source while devoting himself primarily to painting.
